English Rose Cruises

English Rose Cruises have over 18 years of experience in boat trips, cruises and entertainment activities. They operate from Mellieħa Bay, Mellieħa. The services they offer allow you to explore the Maltese Islands by sea, spotting and visiting caves, landmarks, beaches, cliffs, and harbours along the way.

The English Rose boat was built in Gozo in 1989. It is made of wood with 3 marine engines and 2 generators. The boat boasts spacious open air decks and basic facilities such as toilets, fresh water showers and even a snack bar!

They offer 3 types of cruises/activities. These are the Comino cruise, the Valletta Grand Harbour cruise, and the Comino BBQ Night.

The boat then makes its way to Mġarr Harbour in Gozo where you can see landmarks such as Lourdes Chapel, Fort Chambray and Għajnsielem Parish Church from the sea. Following this, the cruise continues to its last stop which is Crystal Lagoon. On the way it passes by and enters some natural caves. The boat moors here for 45 minutes and you are free to explore either by swimming, snorkeling or walking around the lagoon. After this you simply return to the quay at Mellieħa Bay where you would have departed from. Departure is at 10:20 and arrival is at around 16:15.
